Terms of Service

Simple, fair terms for using SendABC. We keep it straightforward because we respect your time.

Last updated: December 24, 2024

📋 The Basics

Use SendABC responsibly. Don't share illegal content or abuse our service.

We provide the service "as is." We'll do our best to keep it running smoothly.

You own your files. We don't claim any rights to what you share.

It's free. No hidden costs, no premium tiers, no surprises.

Acceptance of Terms

By using SendABC, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree with any part of these terms, please don't use our service.

We may update these terms occasionally. If we make significant changes, we'll notify users on our homepage. Continued use of SendABC after changes means you accept the updated terms.

You must be at least 13 years old to use SendABC. If you're under 18, you should have parental permission to use internet services.

What SendABC Does

SendABC is a peer-to-peer file sharing service. We help your browser connect directly to another person's browser so you can share files without uploading them to our servers.

We provide the technology to establish these connections, but we don't store, process, or have access to the files you share. Your files transfer directly between browsers.

SendABC is provided free of charge. We don't offer premium accounts, paid features, or subscription plans.

Acceptable Use

You may use SendABC to:

  • Share files with friends, family, or colleagues
  • Transfer documents, photos, videos, and other personal files
  • Send large files that don't fit in email
  • Share files for legitimate business or educational purposes

You may not use SendABC to:

  • Share copyrighted content without permission
  • Distribute malware, viruses, or harmful software
  • Share illegal content (child exploitation, terrorism, etc.)
  • Harass, threaten, or harm others
  • Spam or send unsolicited files to people
  • Attempt to hack, disrupt, or abuse our service
  • Use automated tools to overload our servers

Your Content, Your Responsibility

You are solely responsible for the files you share through SendABC. We don't monitor, review, or control the content you transfer.

You represent that you have the right to share any files you upload, and that sharing them doesn't violate any laws or third-party rights.

We don't claim ownership of your files. You retain all rights to your content. We don't use your files for any purpose since we can't access them.

If someone shares inappropriate content with you through SendABC, please report it to us at abuse@sendabc.com.

Service Availability

We strive to keep SendABC available 24/7, but we can't guarantee 100% uptime. We may need to take the service down for maintenance, updates, or technical issues.

SendABC is provided "as is" without warranties. We'll do our best to provide a reliable service, but we can't guarantee it will always work perfectly.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue SendABC at any time. If we ever shut down the service, we'll give users reasonable notice.

Privacy and Security

Your privacy is important to us. Please read our Privacy Policy to understand how we handle your data.

We use encryption and security best practices to protect your file transfers, but no internet service is 100% secure. Use SendABC at your own risk.

If you're sharing sensitive files, consider using the optional password protection feature for an extra layer of security.

Limitation of Liability

SendABC is provided free of charge. In exchange, we limit our liability for any issues you might encounter.

We're not responsible for:

  • Failed file transfers due to network issues
  • Data loss or corruption during transfer
  • Inappropriate content shared by other users
  • Compatibility issues with your browser or device
  • Any damages resulting from use of SendABC

Our total liability to you for any claims related to SendABC is limited to $100 USD.

Termination

You can stop using SendABC at any time. Since we don't require accounts, there's nothing to cancel or delete.

We may restrict access to SendABC if we detect abuse, illegal activity, or violations of these terms. We'll try to contact you first when possible.

If we terminate your access, you may not attempt to use SendABC through other means (like different IP addresses or browsers).

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of New York State and the United States. Any disputes will be resolved in New York courts.

If any part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest of the terms remain in effect.

These terms constitute the entire agreement between you and SendABC regarding use of our service.
